Feb 8 – First Christian Frankfort

Frankfort, KY

Matthew and Nancy Sleeth will be speaking at the Wednesday evening fellowship at First Christian Church, Frankfort. The fellowship meal is at 5:30 and Dr. Sleeth will speak at 6:15 p.m.

March 18 – Grace United Methodist

Naperville, IL

Grace United Methodist will be hosting a Green Living Fair on Sunday, March 18. All events take place at 300 E. Gartner Rd, Naperville, IL, and are open to the public. The schedule of events is as follows:

8:15 a.m. – Dr. Matthew Sleeth will give a dialogue sermon with Pastor Bob
9:30 a.m. – Dr. Sleeth will share his story to a group of Sunday school classes
12:00 p.m. – Nancy Sleeth will lead a workshop titled “Almost Amish”
1:00 p.m. – Dr. Sleeth will lead a workshop on his testimony
2:00 p.m. – Nancy Sleeth will lead workshop titled “24/6″

March 18 – Community Church Edgewater

Chicago, IL

Dr. Sleeth will be preaching at the Community Church Edgewater at 6 p.m. The church meets at the EDGE Gallery on 6318 N. Clark St. in Chicago.

March 31 – Ohio Earthkeeping Summit

Columbus, OH

Nancy will be delivering one of the keynote addresses at the Ohio Earthkeeping Summit (co-sponsored by Ohio Interfaith Power & Light and Ohio State University’s School of Environment and Natural Resources). She will also be teaching a workshop on “Rest.” The summit will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More details TBD.

April 1 – University UMC

Syracuse, NY

Brian Webb, Blessed Earth’s Director of Educational Programming, will be preaching at University United Methodist Church in Syracuse.

April 10-12 – Q Conference

Washington, DC

Nancy Sleeth will be presenting a workshop at the Q Conference in DC. More details TBA.

April 14 – Church of the Brethren

New York, NY

Nancy and Emma will be speaking at a Church of the Brethren conference for young people.

April 22 – National Cathedral

Washington, DC

Dr. Matthew Sleeth will be preaching at both Earth Day services at the National Cathedral. In between the services, Dr. Sleeth will interview Wendell Berry at the Cathedral Forum and seminary presidents will sign the Seminary Stewardship Alliance Covenant, officially launching the Blessed Earth Seminary Stewardship Alliance.

May 2 – First Christian Frankfort

Nancy Sleeth will be speaking about her new book, Almost Amish, at First Christian Frankfort’s Wednesday evening fellowship. The meal will begin at 5:30 and Nancy will speak at 6:15 p.m.
